Online Meetup: Tuning MySQL/InnoDB for write-intensive workloads

CHECK24 helps its customers to find and book their perfect trip by allowing them to search for offers at more than 900.000 hotels worldwide.
Under the hood MySQL Percona is used to store these searches and their results, which gives us some pretty write-intensive workloads in our databases. This talk shows the challenges we saw in these databases and how we analysed them using PMM (Percona Monitoring and Management), Grafana and Sysbench.
We also point out the changes we made to our InnoDB config and to parts of our application based on that analysis, that helped us to handle this year's sharp traffic spikes.
