Could this be you?: "Hi, my name is Bob, and I'm a CNC-builder-aholic." Alone, struggling to turn a CNC dream into some kind of reality? Trying to figure out which is the best ball or ACME screw, linear rail, stepper or servo system, Makerslide or Bosch-Rexroth profile, epoxy concrete base or MDF, Chinese high speed spindle or Kress router or diy brushless motor hack, ... (you know the list goes on). Finally a support group for those suffering from this condition. Maybe together we can push our designs from our heads to our benchtops.
Although 3D printers could technically be called a computer numerically controlled device, this group is more about machines pushing more or much more weight--a milling device/router, a plasma cutter, a laser cutter, etc. 3D printers are also interesting to discuss but wouldn't be the main focus..
