nische is a unique event series held four times a year in the Diakonissenbunker in Stuttgart. Each event features two DJs, each performing for one hour, accompanied by visual projections from VJs. The music is not restricted to any genre, and diversity is a key focus when selecting DJs and VJs.
Unlike a typical club night, nische prioritizes artistic expression over crowd-pleasing beats. DJs are encouraged to play music they find personally valuable, even if it challenges conventional club norms. The structured timeline ensures a focused experience, with the event lasting exactly two hours. A countdown and gongs mark the transitions, emphasizing the importance of each set.
The goal of nische is to expand the musical spectrum of nightlife, giving space to sounds that might otherwise be overlooked. By creating a concert-like atmosphere, it invites attendees to engage deeply with music and visuals in a way that goes beyond traditional club experiences.
