Watch your language! How guidelines and tools can help.
Details
Readers expect consistent documentation, while this is hard to achieve when working on a big documentation site or document over time with multiple authors.
In today's event we'll explore how to plan for consistency with guidelines and tools. We'll plan to show live examples of how to use tools like Vale and LanguageTool and what infrastructure is needed. With Sven (@der_sven_) giving it a start, I invite other practitioners to join in and share their setups. If possible, please contact me before the meetup with the ideas you want to share. If there is time and and interest, I can share details on how to use Qodana, JetBrains' new linter.
Both writers and readers of documentation are invited.
As always, if you have questions or feedback, please reach out to me on Meetup or Twitter (@ahus1de), my inbox is always open! 📨
