Steem to the Moon

Dear Steemians of the city of Berlin,

it has been quite a ride for our favorite currency. At the first meetup in at the end of February, the Steem price was at only $0,1 went up to $1 in May, peaked at $2,54 in early June and currently settled at around 2 USD with a market cap of roughly $460 million.

Let's celebrate this enormous growth at our upcoming Steem.Berlin Meetup #004 on Tuesday, June 27.

Onboarding new users

At recent meetups, there were some attendees who hadn't even signed up to steemit. Now with the delayed/flawed signup process, it has become even more cumbersome to join the steemit community. But with the recent developements of SteemConnect V2, we are now able to create accounts for new users at the meetup instantly. Attending the meetup is actually the fastest way for aspiring steemians to get onboard.

Meet & earn

All rewards from the @steemberlin (https://steemit.com/@steemberlin) account will be distributed to the participants of the meetups. We plan to use the rewards:

• to pay for the first drink

• to pay participants for attending the meetup

• to pay for account creation
