Dagger 101 - Hybrid event (in-person and virtual options)

We can’t wait for our first-ever Dagger Switzerland Meetup! Dagger is a powerful, programmable open source CI/CD engine that runs your pipelines in containers — pre-push on your local machine and/or post-push in CI.

Some of the local Daggernauts from the Puzzle team, will be hosting this Dagger meetup to talk about various pain points that every platform engineering hits, and how Dagger can help solve them.

Since this is our first meetup in the area, we will start by teaching the basics of Dagger with real-world examples you can easily take back to your team and implement quickly.

Dagger’s Head of Ecosystems and Head of Infrastructure will be joining virtually to share some of the latest updates from Dagger too!

• 17:05 – Talk 1: Into Daggerverse by Jeremy Adams, Head of Ecosystem at Dagger
  This talk will teach the basics of Dagger. This includes live demos that show how easy it is to implement the basics yourself. The goal is to create a clear understanding of Dagger.
• 17:30 – Talk 2: Dagger in practice, Christoph Raaflaub from Puzzle ITC
  In the second talk, Puzzle shows how they were able to develop pipelines more efficiently with the help of Dagger. This creates an understanding of the application of Dagger in practice.
• 17:50 - Talk 3: Dagger Beyond CI/CD by Gerhard Lazu, Head of Infrastructure at Dagger
  Discover the simplicity and effectiveness of integrating Dagger into your existing CI/CD setup, and explore options for running Dagger in various environments, including advanced use-cases beyond CI/CD.

Wir können es kaum erwarten, unser erstes Dagger Schweiz Meetup zu veranstalten! Dagger ist eine leistungsstarke, programmierbare Open-Source CI/CD-Engine, die Ihre Pipelines in Containern ausführt – sowohl vor dem Push auf Ihrer lokalen Maschine als auch nach dem Push in CI.
