The work goes beyond art making and it is about developing a studio practice that takes your work seriously through proper artwork documentation, text development, network outreach, goal-setting, and more. Learn how to set up your artist studio admin on Google Drive so you can begin professionalizing your art practice. Artists are not well known for their communication or organization so developing these administrative habits early will support your general Art Career goals.
In the workshop, we will go through:
1. Google Drive as a tool & folder and admin set-up
2. What are the various Admin topics all Artists need to consider (Artwork inventory, Contacts Lists, Exhibition documentation, & more)
3. Useful templates
4. General tips & dialogue: communication, digital portfolio development, and more.
The workshop will be given by Das Atelier founder Dominique Suberville: multidisciplinary artist from Mexico based in Berlin. She has a BFA from Parsons The New School for Design and an MA in Sociology from The New School for Social Research in New York. She also attended a Short Course in Curating, Art History, and Writing at Central Saint Martins in London. She has experience 10+ years experience in the art world as an Artist, Gallery Manager, Artist Studio Assistant, & Art Writer.
