Come join us at Agata Bar in Neukölln for our weekly life drawing session hosted by your local artist/painter @emily__moreyart! This session we are thrilled to announce we will have Poppy Cox modeling for us, a combination of nude, costumes and props with short to long poses!

Abit about Poppy:

Poppy Cox is a multi-disciplinary performance artist whose work explores themes of vulnerability, sexuality, feminism, and otherness through movement, voice, theater, film, and drag. Her dynamic practice draws on her years of experience performing in basement cabarets, drag shows, and nightclubs, as well as her experience as a sex worker. Based in Berlin since 2013, she also works as a costume designer for theater, film, and drag, bringing her unique sensibilities from this practice to create surreal and sensory environments.

This Life drawing session is where you can springboard into your imagination and sketch a live model in combination with some surreal costumes in a very relaxed and inspiring atmosphere at Agata bar. A unique bar and cafe on Weichselstraße with it's cosy living room vibes, and tasty hot and cold beverages.

Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting out, this event is open to all skill levels. Bring your favorite drawing materials and get ready to be challenged, inspired, motivated and also unwind from the day by drawing the human form.

Abit about the space and atmosphere:

Please come with respect for the model and other drawers. No photos or videos of models and others without explicit permission. For this session no photos of the model please, though photos of your drawings of the model are okay. Please don't assume pronouns. This is a safe space and no transphophia/homophobia/racism or sexism of any kind will be tolerated. Look forward to welcoming you and drawing with you :)

Tuesday 29th April, 19-21:00. Please arrive early to get a spot or on time so as not to disrupt the session.
