Walk, talk & read - Silent Book Club by the Schliersee

Details
Hi friends!
With spring time upon us and the sun stroking our winter-weary heads, I am starting to feel a lot more outdoorsy. What about you?
Yesterday I had the privilege to be taken around the Schliersee by a tour guide and fell in love, so I thought why not do a Silent Book Club chapter at the Schliersee?
The train ride from Munich Central Station is only an hour, and it takes you almost right to the shore.
At Schliersee, we will start our tour with a quick glance at the cute Milchhäusl Café, where those tired souls among us can grab some coffee to go (bring cash!), and then we will start our walk around the Schliersee.
The walk around the lake takes around 1.5 hours, but with a few breaks and a lot of talking it could take a bit longer.
Once we have made our loop, we will have a traditional Bavarian lunch together, and relax a little in the midday sun (if it chooses to show up).
How does reading fit into all of this? We have plenty of time for that on the train. Depending on our mood, we can also read a little after our loop around the lake, though we will check in spontaneously to see if it matches the vibe.
After that, you can choose what you want to do - some of us will catch the train back to Munich, others might decide to stay, take a dip, or go to the sauna.
Note: If the weather forecast changes and predicts rain, we will postpone this event for another weekend. I will update the event here, so check again for updates.
Meeting point: 9:45 a.m. Munich Central Station, Platform 33
What to bring? Appropriate clothing (sneakers are enough). Temperatures might be mild. Something to keep you hydrated.
Insider tip: there is a very nice sauna and swimming pool close to the Schliersee station. Bring a swim suit and towel if you feel like going there after our trip.
Anything else? Please be on time. We will board the train around 9:55 am. If you miss the train, you can catch the next one, and meet us for our Bavarian lunch.
