3 days trip to Saxony, Saxon Switzerland and Bohemian Switzerland(CzechRepublic

May 29th is a public holiday in Germany, and many of you also have Friday the 30th off.

This is a 3-day tour to Saxony, where we stay in Dresden and explore its beautiful surroundings:

• Radebeul – a charming town known for its wine culture, historical sites, and scenic beauty. We will have a long walk along the vineyards in the hills,. After the walk we will treat ourselves with the local wine.
• Saxon Switzerland - a stunning national park, famous for its dramatic sandstone cliffs, winding hiking trails with its famous Bastei Bridge.
• We’ll also spend one day in Bohemian Switzerland, a breathtaking national park in the north of the Czech Republic, right on the border with Germany, known for its sandstone cliffs, deep forested gorges, and unique rock formations. If the weather allows, we will have a spectacular boat trip through the Edmundsklamm (Edmund Gorge).

Here is the rough itinerary for the tour

Day 1
08.20 We meet at Hauptbahnhof and take the regional train to Dresden (2 changes)
12.00 arrive to Dresden, drop luggage in the hotel and have a lunch
14.00 take S-Bahn to Radebeul, exploring Radebeul with its wineyards and tasting local wine
Day 2
Breakfast in the hotel, take S-Bahn to Bohemian Switzerland, hike , boot ride and lunch

Day 3
Breakfast in the hotel, check out from the hotel, exploring Saxon Switzerland, including Bastei Bridge, train back to Berlin

Costs
Accomodation (2 nights , 6 bed room in a hotel near Dresden Hauptbahnhof) + meetup and organising fee – 110 €
2 breakfasts in the hotel (optional) – 26 €
Boot ride in Bohemian Switzerland – 7€
Public transport tickets - Deutschland ticket covers all the costs
