Rheinterrassen is a relaxed café-restaurant right on the river where you can have a drink or something to eat, with the terrace looking straight out over the water.

It's an easy 13-minute walk from Mannheim Hbf, or 9 minutes if you take the S-Bahn number 3 and get off at the station Lindenhof, MA Hauptbahnhof Süd.
