Certification Study Group - Professional Machine Learning Engineer.

This week's study group session focuses on the critical "Preparation and Processing" phase of the Machine Learning lifecycle.

We'll cover essential techniques including data ingestion and thorough data exploration (EDA) to understand your datasets. You'll learn how to design and build robust data pipelines for efficient data flow, and master feature engineering to transform raw data into valuable features that drive model performance.

This session is key to ensuring your data is clean, well-structured, and optimized for ML.

A jazz highlight at the Schuhfabrik Kultursommer is Kappe meets Cartouch. This extraordinary concert will take place on Saturday, August 16th, starting at 8:00 PM.

Cartouche presents timeless jazz compositions with an exceptional line-up. Together with trumpeter Christian Kappe and bassist André Nendza, guitarist Philipp van Endert has found a very intimate, chamber music sound that resonates like a bird's flight over the resources of the jazz heritage, now setting off for new shores. Philipp van Endert's guitar playing and arrangements once again underscore his sensitive sense of tension.

Since his return from the USA, guitarist Philipp van Endert has established himself as a unique and unmistakable voice in the contemporary jazz scene. He has played on numerous tours and recorded in America and Europe and has accepted invitations to many international festivals - including the renowned Montreux Jazz Festival, The Hague Jazz, Jazz Sur Son/Toulouse, Ankara Jazz Festival, Salzburg Jazz Autumn, Leverkusen Jazz Days and many more. His energetic yet lyrical guitar playing is documented on over 40 CD releases and has brought him together with jazz greats such as Mike Stern, Danny Gottlieb, Lajos Dudas, Jarek Smietana, Karl Berger, Gerd Dudek, Kenny Wheeler, Adrian Mears, Rick Margitza, Philip Catherine and many more. Nominated for the 2006 German Record Award in the Jazz category with the production Philipp van Endert Trio - KHILEBOR (JazzSick Records), winner of the Steven D. Holland Memorial Scholarship and the Berklee Guitar Department Achievement Award.
