Let’s Explore Schillerkiez in Neukölln

1. DO NOT SIGN UP IF YOU ARE UNSURE YOU WILL ACTUALLY SHOW UP. Members who do not show up or cancel on the day of the event will be removed from the meetup and have „No-Show” recorded on their meetup profile.

2. This is NOT an official walking tour with speeches/tour guide/historical facts. This is an event for drinking, eating and exploring Berlin while making new friends. We will stop at bars/local attractions/eateries along the way. Please be flexible and BRING CASH to pay for whatever you order.

3. This event is intended for friendly people living in Berlin who would like to meet other friendly people. Please no couples/colleagues/pairs/groups.

4. We usually meet and greet at the first location for 15-20 minutes before walking to the next. If you are a little late send me a message and we will wait for you.

Schillerkiez

Situated in northern Neukölln, one of Berlin’s most exciting districts, Schillerkiez is a small neighbourhood just four by seven blocks in size, bordering the massive playground and former airport that is Tempelhofer Feld to the west and Volkspark Hasenheide to the north.

Schillerkiez was originally developed in the 1900s on outlying farmland intended as housing for affluent Berliners. The district is bustling with hipster cafés and quirky bars, so let’s explore together some of the lesser known corners of this trendy area.
