## TALK 1 Finding Topics in Text Data using NLP and Neural Networks

Speaker: Dr. Daniel Bendel

This talk is about how to analyze free text with R and Python. We collected over 7,000 open text explanations from our users on why they opted out of one of our main features. Of course, I couldn't read every answer and classify it manually, therefore I needed to use a variety of tools to make sense out of these answers and group them in informative clusters, which I would like to present today.

## TALK 2 The gt Package: Introduction and Demo

Speaker: Richard Iannone

The gt package is table preparation package for R which makes the presentation of tabular data fairly easy. The package allows for a lot of customization. We can format cell values, apply footnotes, styles cells, and much more.

I'll provide some background on gt and show you what it is capable of doing today. There will be a demo of gt in the RStudio IDE and we’ll work through a number of examples of what kinds of tables can be made.
