an Elm Hack Night is a place to learn and make cool stuff together. We will have snacks and beer for everyone.

We love getting a diverse group of people, from beginners to experts, so if you are on the fence about coming out, just go for it, especially if:

You are new to Elm - Whether you are getting stuff installed or writing your first program, it will be way easier when you can talk to someone who has done it before!

You want to start a project - Maybe you have been eyeing Elm but don't know how it will work for your project. Fastest way is to ask us about the specifics or pair with someone here.

At a typical Hack Night we'll mob program on a cool idea or a problematic use case someone shares.

We love lightning talks! They should be 1 to 15 minutes and roughly relatable to web development. Tell us how you came to program JavaScript, show us your favorite service to deploy production code to, spread the latest SEO news or bring a short intro to how cool it is to develop in a specific programming language or framework... we're craving for your knowledge!
