Thornleigh to Hornsby

The track is part of the Great North Walk and undulates along the side of the Berowra Valley visiting a range of environments from moist fern forest to the drier grass tree and eucalypt forests of the ridge.
We will also visit the newly opened Hornsby Park.

Start Location: 10:00am Thornleigh Station (Western entrance)

Transport: 9:08am Central Coast Newcastle train from Central Station arrives Thornleigh Station at 9:55am

Distance: 10.2Km
Terrain: Footpath, Bush tracks, Creek crossing (on rocks)

WHAT TO BRING. Please wear good bushwalking shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen, rain jacket, first aid kit, picnic lunch and 2L water.
