Hike to sand dunes from Altdorf

Let's explore the area between Nürnberg and Altdorf on this route:

It is a 19km hike for around 5 hours (plus breaks), mostly in nature, so without any possibility to buy water or food on the way. Please bring enough supplies, good clothes for a bit unfriendly weather and good shoes for hiking in a not easy terrain.

We meet at Nürnberg Hauptbahnof in front of the information desk (under the timetable) on Sunday at 8:15 and we use S2 train leaving at 8:34. (We can also meet around Altdorf West (train station) at 9:00, where we start our hike.) We finish at Altdorf West, where we can take a train back (every 30 minutes) or stay a bit in Altdorf.
