Live Music Session

Dear music lovers,

RedRum Sessions is a Berlin-based event series featuring various brilliant musicians and performers from all corners of the world in one of Berlins coolest cocktail bars; RedRum Artbar. At the RedRum Sessions, we consistently book international Berlin based musicians with different styles and backgrounds, all events are curated and organised by The Traveling Stage.

Session number 33 is upon us, and we are planning a nice show for you. This time we are inviting Asli Gabuk to come and perform on our stage again, and for the first time we’re inviting Daniel de Boer to come and perform.

Asli Gabuk
Asli Gabuk is a music producer and composer nourished by Istanbul’s multicultural spirit, bringing together experimental and avant-garde pop blending with the ambient textures with theatrical vocals and storytelling. With over two decades of live performance and studio experience, she has appeared at international festivals such as Documenta 15 (2022, Kassel), Burning Man (2022, Nevada), and SONÀR Istanbul (2024). Now she continues her performances through both solo and collective projects.

Daniel de Boer
Award-winning Dutch composer, bassist and singer Daniel

de Boer worked many years as a freelance musician
(including for the Metropole Orchestra, the Celebrity Edge
Theatre Ensemble and Holland Opera), before his desire for
starting his own project brought him to Berklee College of
Music in Valencia, Spain.
In Spain Daniel was able to realise his dream of composing

and recording his own album. With a group of top
musicians he is now presenting to the world his music, an
eclectic mix of cultures and styles that come together in the
pop idiom. Music that is in short: world pop.
His latest release is an EP called The Turnaround, featuring

musicians from all around the world.

Chee-Awai
Chee-Awai is a Berlin-based Swedish-American artist blending indie folk and classic rock into soulful, guitar-driven storytelling. Performing solo with voice and acoustic guitar, he channels the

vintage energy of the 1960s into a modern, heartfelt sound. His debut album The Land of Thirst and upcoming release of his next single Traveling Times highlight his signature mix of warm tones, honest lyrics, and vivid performance style.
