Walk to Festival of Lights (Charlottenburg Palace - Brandenburg Gate)

Join me for an evening walk through some of Berlin’s most iconic landmarks, ending in the heart of Berlin for the Festival of Lights.

We’ll begin at Charlottenburg Palace and walk east through Berlin’s green spaces and historic landmarks, gradually making our way toward Pariser Platz / Brandenburg Gate, where we’ll finish the evening surrounded by the illuminated city.

🌿 Route & Pace
The route is ~7 km with, making this an easy urban sightseeing walk rather than a strenuous hike. We’ll walk at a comfortable sightseeing pace, with short photo stops at the major landmarks.

🕐 Schedule
Start: Charlottenburg Palace at 18:30
We’ll begin the walk at Charlottenburg Palace and make our way through the parks and monuments toward central Berlin.
During the walk:
We’ll take short photo/rest stops at the main landmarks and a 15 minute break along the way.
Evening:
We’ll arrive at Pariser Platz / Brandenburg Gate, our final destination, in time to enjoy the Festival of Lights.

*The official meetup ends at Pariser Platz. You are welcome to continue exploring the Festival of Lights independently or head home whenever you like.

Feel free to join, break away, or move at your own pace whenever you like. You can leave the group at any point or stay longer at any location on your own accord. The route, meeting point, and event date may be adjusted if necessary, including due to weather conditions. Please check the group chat for the latest updates before the event.
