Let's hang this Sunday afternoon by walking through Museum Island/Mitte before heading to one of the city's coziest and more alternative Christmas markets.
Expect fire bowls, warm Glühwein, food, handmade crafts, independent design stalls, karaoke and cultural programming. It's a lovely opportunity to enjoy a different kind of Christmas market, explore the stalls, relax by the fire and meet new people.✨
🚶 Route & Pace
We'll start walking from Museum Island at 15:45 towards Holzmarkt, passing through central Berlin and several recognizable landmarks.
🏛️ Highlights along the way:
- Deutscher Dom and Französischer Dom
- Berlin Cathedral
- Neptune Fountain
- Red City Hall
- Altes Stadthaus
- Remains of the Medieval Berlin City Wall
- Holzmarkt & Möhrchengarten
The walk is approximately 4–5 km, at a relaxed pace, with stops along the way for pictures and sightseeing.
Our final destination, and main highlight, is the HEISSA Christmas Market, where we'll spend the rest of the evening until closing at 20:00
💶 Meetup Contribution & Entrance Fee
- €3 Meetup contribution: Helps cover Meetup-related costs and support future community activities.
- €3 market entrance fee: The market charges a separate entrance contribution on Sundays.
Please bring €6 in cash to cover both payments.
Food and drinks are at your own expense.
