It's a video course held by experts from Facebook presenting the fields of application of Augmented Reality.
The Event will take place at the Digital Product School in the IBM Watson IoT Center at Highlight Towers Munich.

Learn the basics of World AR as you create a 3D version of the solar system.
Create an interactive 3D version of the solar system that you'll wish you had as a science student. In this course, we'll cover the basics of World AR, animations, and Patch Editor, as well as discuss the implications of AR in the classroom. Key Learnings:
- Building and importing 3D models, assets, and materials
- Animations and advanced materials (fluids, transparency, etc.)
- World AR (target tracking, plane tracking)
- 2D UI and input
- Patch Editor
8:00 - 8:15 pm: Break
8:15 - 9:30 pm: Video Masterclass No. 2: "AR And Gaming"
Create a simple AR social game that takes face tracking to the next level.
In this course, you'll learn the difference between world and local positioning, get an introduction to high fidelity face tracking, and dive into scripting and reactive programming in Spark AR Studio. You'll walk away with a simple AR social game and concepts that are easy to recreate in your own custom game. Key Learnings:
- Building and importing 3D models, assets, and materials
- Audio effects
- World vs. local positioning
- Face tracking (low vs. high fidelity)
- Scripting and reactive programming

About the speakers:
Tom Goldsmith: "Tom's experience in education includes founding one education startup and being employee number four at another. At Facebook, Tom is the product manager for Spark AR graphics and audio".
Yash Sahay: "Yash has founded three startups and one of them was in the EdTech space. At Facebook he leads the Product Partner Engineering team for Europe, Middle East and Africa and works closely with Spark AR Studio team".
Edgar Neto: "Edgar has 10 years of experience in coding games, having won international awards for indie projects, and has made games for Xbox360, PC, Web and Mobile. Currently, as a Partner Engineer for Platforms, Edgar has enabled developers across EMEA to make successful games and AR products using Facebook's technology stack".
Matt Roberts: "Matt's career in gaming spans console, web, mobile and wearable game design. At Facebook, Matt leads product for the Spark AR Tooling suite, including Spark AR Studio and Spark Publishing".
