F&F Meetup #1: Learning & leadership

Dear Brave Entrepreneurs,

Welcome to the first official Fear & Fail event! The date and the location are finally set, and the theme of our meetup will be Learning & Leadership.

The plan for the evening:

18:00 - 18:15 Welcome, drinks, introduction

18:15 - 19:15 The event: 3 genuine stories from brave entrepreneurs (Rosa, Franz & Julia; see below)

19:15 - 21:00 Networking & drinks

This is a not-for-profit event and the fee (10 euro) is there to cover the event costs (e.g. venue and drinks).

JULIA

Multi-passionate and aiming for a flexible and self-determined job, Julia founded her own business „visionsgarten" in 2015. In her blog she shares her personal experiences about personal development, finding and fulfilling dreams and reaching personal goals. She is also supporting founders and small businesses concerning marketing and web. As a female solopreneur in a rural area, Julia will talk about her past and current doubts and fears and share her personal story.

FRANZ

After some experience in large companies and agencies, Franz shifted his work and life towards a groundbreaking model of a supermarket, focusing on innovative, ecologic and social levels. He worked on his baby called "holis" 7 days a week, 16 hours a day.
Two years after the first idea, the project was transformed to a company, but this moment was only the beginning of the end, as Franz realised later. In his own words: "Dreams come true, dreams fall apart, both in a radically short amount of time. The time lapse of the destruction of an ambitious community project can be the starting point for learning and re-thinking."

ROSA

Rosa has been living in Austria for more than 10 years. Next to being a mum, like Lizbeth and Luisa, she is also the founder and a leader of Manos Latinas. Manos Latinas creates culinary journeys in Upper Austria, a unique experience that lets other people learn about the
spirit and culture of Latin America through its cuisine. During the event and networking session, Rosa and Liz will share their work and life experience in Austria, the challenges and lessons learned from their entrepreneurial journey and their dreams and hopes as Latin woman.
