FinTech Berlin March Meetup
Veranstaltet von FinTech Berlin
Details
Dear FinTech-Community,
the next FinTech Berlin-Meetup will take place on March 26, from 7 to 10 p.m. Save the date and RSVP now. SAP opens its doors at its offices at Rosenthaler Straße 30, 10178, Berlin-Mitte, easiest to reach with U8 to Weinmeisterstraße (north exit).
I am happy to tell you that our doors open a little farther than planned. I can grant additional 30 seats to the 70 originally planned, which makes now 100 spots available to you. Tell your friends and colleagues now as they will be booked quickly.
Expect three exiting and inspiring presentations:
First we will have Özkan Akkilic, Founder of Elopay (https://www.elopay.com/), who will tell his story of how he went from washing dishes (no joke) to become a part of the financial services community. Elopay allows p2p-payments via app and without the necessity of a credit card.
Second Christian Heinz will exclusively tell us of his plans to predict the future using collective intelligence of the many. Mitch-Morgan (http://www.mitch-morgan.com/) is currently being ramped up as a predictive business analytics solution for, but not limited to, the financial industry. Christian earned his first start up spurs with eKomi (http://www.ekomi.com/us/), acting as COO and MD for their operations in the US.
Third, also SAP will uncover what it is up to in the FinTech-business and Start Up-ecosystem. Harald Boeddinghaus, Solution Manager at SAP and the king of expertise when it comes to banking and omnichannel (http://go.sap.com/solution/industry/banking/retail-commercial-banking.html) will give his insights about changes in customer behaviour dealing with financial issues and SAP’s response to this.
After the presentations we will have time for exchange and networking. A few of my SAP-colleages from consulting, design and development will be keen to getting to know you and discuss with you, if you like to. Sebastian from SAP’s Start Up Focus Program (http://www.sap.com/corporate-en/about/our-company/innovation/start-up-focus-program.html) will be available to provide information about the why and how and the future plans of SAP’s engagement in Berlin's startup ecosystem.
All presentations will be held in English. Drinks and snacks are on the house.
