Pearce Ferry Camping
Details
Spent some time near where the Colorado River joins Lake Mead. There is a primitive car camping area with an outhouse, picnic table, and fire pits. Bring enough water for the trip. The main attraction in the area is the most dangerous rapid on the Colorado River--Pearce Ferry Rapid! The NPS/BLM carved a road above the rapid around 2009 so that boats could take out above the rapid.
