☁️ Having Fun with Dart on the Backend
⏱ ~ 30 minutes
When you're in a small team it's always a trade-off when deciding which tech stack you should choose to support backend needs of your app. Fortunately, as a Flutter developer, you have a unique set of skills that can be leveraged to build simple backend tools. In this talk, I'll explore the different ways Flutter developers can use their skills to create backend solutions. We'll discuss the pros and cons of using Dart to build backend tools, as well as compare it with traditional backend development. I'll demonstrate how you can build serverless functions using Dart and leverage cloud services like Google Cloud to create a scalable backend for your app.

💻 Writing native websites in Dart using Jaspr
⏱ ~30 minutes
Explore how you can write native websites in Dart using the new Jaspr web framework. Learn how you can leverage your existing Flutter skills while using native web technologies like the DOM or server-side rendering.
Kilian is a Senior Flutter Engineer who is passionate about the Flutter and Dart ecosystem. He has helped several companies publish successful Flutter applications and in his free time, he maintains various Open Source Flutter and Dart packages. He is currently building his own Startup where he uses Flutter and Dart to bring a new charging solution to electric vehicle drivers across Europe.

✂ Building a video editor with Flutter
⏱ ~30 minutes
Flutter is most well-known for building mobile apps, but can it be used to create a fully-fledged desktop video editing app? This talk takes you on the journey of building a MacOS video editing app. From making the app look like an action mac app, over building and distributing an app in the MacOS ecosystem, utilizing AppleScripts, and building a custom embedded to enable high speed video rendering. The main goal is to give an overview and inspire to push the current boundaries of what Flutter can do.
Norbert is a Flutter veteran, starting back when it was still in alpha. He has worked in a multitude of companies bringing Flutter as a new technology on board. He has always been passionate about pushing the boundaries of Flutter and exploring new possibilities with technologies (such as building the first Flutter desktop prototype and building a visual Flutter UI editor). Currently, he is working on Cutscenes, a video editor built with Flutter, while also Freelancing.

🌎 I18n/L10n in Dart and Flutter
⏱ ~20 minutes
Internationalization, or i18n, is the process of making your app available to users in different languages. Localization, or l10n, means adapting your app for a specific language or locale. I will talk about how this is handled in Dart and Flutter, and future plans of the Dart team in this space.
Moritz is a software developer in the Dart ecosystem team, working on packages for Dart and Flutter.
