• "What's new in Flutter Design Engineering?" with Will Larche from Google

    Hey fellow Flutter fans, we have exciting news for you - in March Will Larche will come visit Düsseldorf 🎉 Will is the Flutter Engineering Lead for Material Design at Google in NYC. He has also been an iOS engineer on Material Components, the official Google I/O app for iOS, and the Material Motion framework for animation and interactive motion. Before Google, he was the Chief Product Officer of a fashion-tech startup and has he led mobile engineering and product at multiple startups. We'll have a closer technical look at Google Fonts, the new Flutter Gallery, and other announcements from Flutter Interact. So if you are an experienced Flutter developer or just getting started, this is for you! Make sure to also bring your #FlutterDev design questions because Will will do an Q&A afterwards. Like our first episode of the flutter.school we will kick off the evening at the Spaces coworking in Düsseldorf Altstadt at 7pm.   • Flutter Study Jam / Hot Reload Hackathon for Beginners

    We are proud to announce the flutter.school Hot Reload Hackathon 🎉 This event is for you if you are new to Flutter or just starting out (for sure you can also join when you are already an expert) and want to build your first app for Android and iOS. We will start around 4pm at the grandcentrix headquarter in Cologne where Pascal and I will give a short intro to Flutter. You'll be instructed to build a Flutter app beyond "Hello World". We'll clone a popular app together with Firebase, and fancy animations. From zero to hero in only a few hours! (Or you work on your own idea and enjoy the productive atmosphere of creative people) The only thing you'll need to bring is a laptop (Windows, Mac or Linux) and some good mood. There will be drinks and snacks sponsored by grandcentrix. Please also make sure to be on-time and only sign up when you know that you can attend (since we only have a few limited spots).
