WEEDS WALK with Katya Dimova [Starting at Falschrum, Braunschweigerstr. 16 12055 Berlin]
An informal, collective exploration of so-called weeds, during which participants will observe, talk about, and draw often-overlooked plants in the urban landscape. Where do weeds grow in the city? How does the urban environment shape their growth? How do we perceive and name them? While drawing, we will reflect on the resilience of these plants, their medicinal and symbolic meanings, and how they challenge our ideas of value, control, and belonging. Please bring your sketchbook, notebook, and some pencils (or whatever you prefer to use).
