Welcome and Networking ๐ค
- Join us for some pre-event networking.
- Enjoy pizza ๐ and refreshments while get-to-know fellow AWS enthusiasts.
- Kick off the meetup with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to the evening's exciting agenda.
Talk 1 - The three stages: Data Product, AI Readiness, Intelligence as a Product - Level 300 (30min)
- Description: While data products enable scalable ownership and AI readiness improves data preparation, neither removes manual effort or delivers value on its own, this session introduces the next stage: intelligence as a product. We outline a three-stage evolution from brown field data products to AI-ready data products and than to autonomous, self-maintaining intelligence products. Building on a practical architecture, we show how AI agents can monitor, adapt, and continuously improve data products, turning them into systems that not only serve data. Drawing on real-world patterns, we demonstrate how domain teams can move from maintaining pipelines to owning intelligent, outcome-driven products.
- Speakers: Olga Woschitz is a data architect focused on building the scalable, future-proof foundations required for modern AI. She specializes in designing systems that drive real business impact by connecting data strategy directly to implementation. - Her interest in AI-ready architecture grew from solving the real-world problems she saw inside organizations: Legacy pipelines that break under pressure. Teams that struggle to collaborate. Data that cannot support even basic analytics, let alone AI. This experience drives her to build modern, domain-oriented architectures that make AI possible instead of painful
- Sahar Shoushtari is an Automation & DevOps Engineer in the Technology & Transformation business unit at Deloitte, specializing in Engineering, AI & Data. Based in Berlin, Sahar brings a robust skill set to her role, with a strong focus on cloud technologies and application development. She is certified as an AWS Cloud Architeht Solution , AWS Cloud Practitioner, HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate, and holds an ITILยฎ V4.0 Foundation certification, showcasing her commitment to professional development and excellence in her field. - She has a professional experience of more than four years, working across the public, transportation, and financial sectors in solution architeht, DevOps, cloud automation, and project management roles. She has contributed to large-scale projects involving AWS, k8s, IaC, and CI/CD automation, supporting deployments in both cloud and hardware environments.
Talk 2 - Replicate, Route, Recover: Engineering for Multi-Region - Level 300 (30min)
- Description: A practical look at building cloud workloads that span regions, structured around three jobs you cannot avoid: routing traffic, replicating data, and recovering from failure
- Speakers: Armin Bube is a Solutions Architect at AWS
