Our initiative, Funny Females and Friends* wants to create an inclusive comedy scene in Frankfurt by empowering diverse voices. Our monthly mixed comedy mic welcomes newcomers as well as experienced FLINTA* (women/lesbian/inter/non-binary /trans/agender people) comedians.
Our aim is to create a safe and friendly space where FLINTA*s can perform stand-up in a supportive environment and through it discover their voice. Roasting patriarchy, one punchline at a time!

About the organizers:
Lichi(cus) is a world nomad who finally found her home - in Frankfurt, surprisingly! From an early age, she fancies herself a comic artist with an innate curiosity for knowing what makes people ‘tick’. Besides her artistic endeavors, in her day job, she draws pictures and plays games to get adult professionals to talk to each other. Born with the travel bug, she combines her multiple cultural backgrounds with her travel adventures in her comedy and designs, trying to bring people together through laughs.
Amanda Urban is a German-born country bumpkin now living in Frankfurt. She loves big cities because potatoes don't grow on concrete. As a millennial, she addresses her body image ruined by the early 2000s, her upbringing between cows, and her love for recycling (after all, she´s German!). She´d love to contribute to a more diverse comedy scene in Frankfurt ‘cause she doesn't speak d*ck properly.
