Salzschlirf to Schlitz with the largest candle in the world, Fulda Xmas market

We start in Bad Salzschlirf with its spa park and other facilities. Then we hike along the Schlitz river to the city with the same name. There we visit the palace and then the historic center with several castles and the Christmas market with the largest Christmas candle in the world. We return via Fulda. There is the possibility to do a "stopover" at the Fulda Christmas market and medieval Christmas market. For those participating in that, arrival time in Frankfurt is one or two hours later.

We meet in Fra Hbf at 9:40 at the beginning of platform 14 for RB41 departing at 9:50. A Deutschlandticket or RMV annual ticket is recommended, but you can also buy a single day ticket.

The distance is ca. 13 km. Take beverages & food for the way with you.
