Getting Ready for our May events! 🧹📚
Join us to make our beloved Freethought Library sparkle and shine just in time for our upcoming events on May 2nd (Community Spotlight Fair) and May 16th-17th (24hr Livestream and Fundraiser! We will be getting the library looking its best before these important community events. Whether you're one of our regulars, part of the Vanguard, or just looking to give back to the community, we welcome your helping hands!
When: Saturday, April 25th, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (drop in whenever you can!)
Where: The Freethought Library, of course!
What to Expect:
We'll be tackling a variety of tasks including:
- Dusting shelves, furniture, and electronics
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors and carpets
- Light landscaping and outdoor cleanup (weather permitting)
- General sprucing up and making the library look its best!
Event Details:
- What to Bring: Just yourself, clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty, and some comfy shoes. :D
Cleaning supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have equipment you prefer.
- Refreshments: Light snacks, drinks, and coffee will be provided.
- Pets: No pets allowed! While we always love to welcome everyone's furry friends, with so many moving parts and people going in and out of the building, we ask that you leave your pets at home.
