Did you always want to get a look inside a commercial art gallery but was shy to enter it on your own? Or maybe you’re just looking for a new way to spend your Friday evening and learn a bit more about the contemporary art? Join us as today we visit some of Frankfurt’s most exciting contemporary art galleries!

This Friday we explore 3 contemporary art galleries located between U Eschenheimer Tor and Konstablerwache.

There, we can enjoy paintings in different technics, meet gallery owners, and maybe even chat with artists themselves.

Afterwards, if you are ready we can relax at a cozy café to share our impressions and exchange casual thoughts about what we’ve seen. Whether you're an art lover or just curious, this is a great way to discover something new!

  • The galleries we will visit: Gallery Bärbel Grässlin, Filiale, Monica Ruppert.
  • Meeting point: Bleichstraße 48, 60313 Frankfurt in front of the gallery Monica Ruppert
  • Admission to all galleries is free
  • The galleries are 5-10 min walking distance apart
  • This is an English speaking event
  • There is no professional tour guide service during this walk ( i.e. no prepared tour on exhibitions in the galleries) . We explore everything ourselves on the spot
  • The walk takes 1-1,5h approx + cafe time
  • Food and drinks at a café are at your own expense. You can decide to skip this part of the event.

A bit about myself (the organiser): I am an art enthusiast and love to visit museums, explore art fairs and volunteer for art. Also I supported as a gallery guide such events as the Frankfurt Art Weekend and Amsterdam Art Week.

Let’s explore the Frankfurt art scene together!
