About our Speakers
Humaira Ahmed
Humaira Ahmed is an award-winning Pakistani born Canadian entrepreneur based in Canada. She has a background in Software Engineering and Communication Studies.
With 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, Humaira has founded three businesses. Currently, she is the Founder and CEO of BestHuman, an award-winning leading leadership development platform to help managers become great people leaders.
BestHuman has impacted over 4,500 individuals through its coaching marketplace and tailored leadership programs. Humaira's focus on the future of work as a community-driven space aligns with her belief that leadership must evolve in the face of ever-evolving dynamic business and diverse workplace landscape.
Humaira is a recipient of Business in Vancouver (BIV)'s 40 under 40 recipient, Douglas Magazine 10 to Watch Winner, and has won multiple tech industry awards. Her thought leadership has been featured in various publications including CTV News, ChekTV and the Globe and Mail.

Ali Close
Ali Close (she/her) is Solaris' Senior Manager for the Cards Business and co-leads Futura, Solaris' network for women. She has over 10 years of experience working within the FinTech industry and is passionate about shaping it to be more equitable and inclusive.
