Every culture on Earth has a story of its origin, and also the culture's purpose, extending into the future. For October's FT we'll consider one increasingly popular version of the modern world's story, from the book "Homo Deus" by Yuval Harari, presented by long-time FT'er, Lachlan.
We'll also finish a remainder from last time, an idea-that-future-generations-will-likely-laugh-at: mind = brain = computer.
