Agenda
7:00 PM: Networking
Networking over drinks and food
7:30 PM: Welcome
Welcome words from the organizers
7:35 PM: QNIB Shuffle - treat workshops like software / Christian Kniep
Workshops are often repetitive in nature (intro of the tech, infra-setup, teardown). In most cases Authors clone what they see as most recent or convenient, tweak what they do not like and rip out the part they want to change. No upstream contribution, no collaboration. Qshuf treats workshops like software and reuses pages independently - assembling a workshop in a yaml file.
8:05 PM: Announcements and break
Announcements, HR lost & found, open mic
8:25 PM: Successful Go interview / Anton Velikanov
During this session the following topics would be covered:
- The purpose of doing the technical interviews;
- the evolution of the technical interviews within past 10+ years;
- the approaches of doing interviews and best practices that were derived from the experience being at the both sides;
- what are the common mistakes made by the candidates during the interview process and how to avoid them;
- recommended steps for the interview preparation;
This talk would be useful for both: the candidates on how to better prepare for the interview, the interviewers on how to better structure the interview process.
9:00 PM: Networking
More networking over drinks and the rest of the food
