At our May event, our guest speaker is grief expert Elena Winkelmann.
She'll introduce grief mapping - a visual framework that helps us explore and communicate the multifaceted impact of grief.
We’ll start the event with a brief summary of grief mapping, followed by a discussion and networking.
We’ll cover:
- the layered nature of grief experiences
- how grief impacts relationships, identity, and daily functioning
- the difference between primary and secondary losses
- common coping responses and how they show up in practice
- practical tools for grief-informed conversations and interventions
- how this insight can support more attuned and compassionate work with clients
- and more
This talk is designed to support mental health professionals in working with grief with greater clarity, nuance, and empathy.
We are looking forward to sharing this time and space with you.
