Hey guys!
I was leading one such group and want to start one here in Hamburg. Following words might sound harsh but will help us make a smaller but a better community here.
Before you read the description after this section and join the group, please note the following:
- We want to be a bunch of people that are really interested about what life is, it's deeper meanings and indulge in conversations that arise out of our curiosities and interests.
If you are looking for only a generic "meet like minded people" or a dating specific group, this might not be for you. - Respect the participants.
We provide a judgement free zone. Do not scoff at ideas/beliefs/values that are different to yours. Question for the sake of curiosity and learning, not for the sake of questioning or pointing a finger. - We are not dead serious people with a classroom ambience :) We drink ( or not) and have light and easy to understand philosophical/psychological conversations. No text book stuff or definitions here!
Now the fun part :)
Lets get together for some interesting conversation beyond the usual polite ice breakers. Light hearted but more interesting stuff. We do not subscribe to any school of philosophy, discuss many definitions and textbook specifics or discuss about the personal traits of Epicurus, its more about our thoughts and personal anecdotes and experiences on a matter. It's a disucssion on how you think and do things and your life's philosophy more than how someone else handled it in the 0 BC/AD/AB.
