Holiday City Hike on the Green Ring 3 from Mittlerer Landweg to Stillhorn, 24 km

The Green Ring is something very special, especially in spring. Therefore, I would like to tackle the first tour with you. The Green Ring is an approximately 100 km circular route through and around Hamburg, which I would like to explore with you in various tours. The route is largely green and traffic-calmed, with only occasional large roads and main streets. Extensive parks, allotment gardens, forests, rivers, lakes, and the cultural landscapes of the Geest and the marsh with vegetable, flower, and fruit cultivation, fields, and grassland. There's something for everyone.

We start the third tour at S Mittlerer Landweg station (S2). The destination is Stillhorn. The route is approximately 24 km long. Anyone who wants to can get off at any time. The highlight of today is a visit to the historic Johanna windmill.

If it rains heavily or there is an earthquake on that day, I will cancel the tour one day in advance and offer an alternative date.

The fourth tour from Stillhorn to Teufelsbrück is expected to take place on Pfingstsonntag, Sunday, June 8, 2025.

A replacement bus will run between Berliner Tor and Billwerder-Moorfleet. From there please take the S2 and go one stop to Mittlerer Landweg.
