Uhm, yeah, kinda to the point, even if it sounds like it's copied from a marketing brochure🤔 I'd like to add: Only those will enjoy who are physically prepared for a 29 km walking distance. It is not only rewarding but also demanding, as we walk partly on the natural beach on sand, gravel and stones. You have to bring your own nothern German culinary specialities and everything else you will need for the day, including at least 2 liters of water and sun protection. And with swimwear and a towel, you will get a chance to swim in the Baltic Sea.
We will meet at Hamburg Hbf on platform 6, section B, below the sign 'B' at 7:55 and enter the first or second first car as soon as the train arrives. The train usually departs from platform 6, but check the displays for any changes on Saturday. We'll take the train RE8 to Lübeck at 8:06, change train in Lübeck (RE4 to Grevesmühlen) from where we go by bus to Boltenhagen. Return to Hamburg is expected to be at at 21:38. The trip is covered by the Deutschlandticket. Without D-Ticket the Schleswig-Holstein-Ticket is the best option, plus an additional ticket for the local bus in Wismar, which we'll use from the outskirts to the train station.
