after-work hike into the sunset from the elbe to the alster [17 km, easy]

dear hikers,

today we're going from the elbe to the alster – as far as we can get and until sunset.

this hike is for all locals, newcomers, and guests of the most beautiful town in the world.

we'll meet at the elbe at the landungsbrücken and walk along the alster through hamburg city, to the binnenalster and along the aussenalster. then we'll continue along the west bank of the aussenalster. in alsterpark, we're planning a little international alster picnic. it would be nice if everyone could bring something delicious from their country. german food, european food, asian food, indian food, african food, muslim food, fast food, but no barefoot.

afterwards, we'll continue hiking on the alsterwanderweg until sunset – as far as we can get it. the end of the hike should be U S ohlsdorf station, or if we can manage it, s-bahn station kornweg.

if you have any problems, bring them to me and we'll throw them in the alster!
