Wulmstorf and Fischbek Heath on Whit Monday (15 km / easy)

Moin, dear hikers, let's enjoy the public holiday together on a hike through the wonderful nature reserves west of Hamburg, the Wulmstorf Heath and the Fischbek Heath, just outside the gates of the city. This is a beginner-friendly hike at a reasonable pace, but we will use some small and bumpy paths. And since it's a hilly landscape, the paths often go up and down, giving you a chance to train your cardio fitness along the way. Please bring your own food and drinks as needed.

We will meet in front of the exit of the S-Fischbek station as soon as the train, which is scheduled to arrive at 12:55, has arrived. We will wait for this train in case it is delayed, but not for later ones. Endpoint of the hike is the S-Neuwiedenthal station.

Please play nice and only sign up if your are 100% sure that you will join! Unreliable people (no show or late cancellation) may be excluded from future events with limited capacity. Repeat offenders will be banned from the group.

As always, this is a free event, but voluntary donations are welcome and help me cover the costs of running the group. Nobody is expected to give, only do so if you can afford it and would like to. Look out for the violet donation box toward the end of the hike.
