Talks details:
Women in Tech: The Importance of Mentorship and Role Models?
Meanwhile, it is widely known that diversity and inclusion within tech teams can have positive impacts on both individuals and companies. And yet, the question often arises – how can we promote these important topics concretely?
To provide a practical approach here, my presentation will focus on the significance of mentorship and role models for women in tech. I will elaborate on various mentoring approaches and describe how a mentor can influence one’s career and professional development.
In addition to sharing established best practices, I will also discuss my own experiences with the topic of mentoring, addressing both challenges and moments of success.
The goal of my presentation is to offer the audience a perspective on the importance of mentoring, especially for women in the tech industry, and to encourage participants to engage themselves in mentoring environments.

Compliance-as-Code: How to do regulated business using public cloud
Moving to the public cloud can be a tedious process in regulated industries where compliance, risk, information security, and DevOps teams are working in silos. All DevOps teams want is simple and fast development of infrastructure and applications but can’t start the journey to enable business value because they keep running into patrols of risk, legal, and compliance. With examples for Azure, this presentation aims to help you and your team with Compliance-as-Code controls, to help your journey to the public cloud. I will show you why Compliance-as-Code controls are necessary, but also how Compliance-as-Code is an argument for lowering risk in regulated industries.

Are Robots Racist?
Ai tools are all the rage in the current moment, but Ai has been around for a while and with it issues around racial and gender bias, excluding above else women of color. Why is that and what can we do, to change this?
