A Primer to SAP HANA Cloud's Vector Engine
With the latest release of SAP HANA Cloud, its multi-model engines have been complemented by a Vector store. This new capability will make SAP HANA Cloud a vital part of Business AI scenarios by serving as an interface between Large Language Models and our customers distinct business data. Aimed at connecting from where the TechEd 2023 announcement left off, this talk will guide you through some typical usage patterns as well as technical aspects like the SQL interface.

Integration of Machine Learning in Calculation Views - a Use Case for Customer data segmentation
New features in HANA Cloud based modeling of Calculation Views extend possibilities for integrating Machine Learning Algorithms and analyzing results thereof. I will show how a customer data segmentation can be executed using a table function embedded in a Calculation View and results can be visualized.

Exchange of experiences SAP Datasphere
ISR shares its experience with SAP Datasphere from several customer projects. These include projects such as the replacement of SAP BW (BARMER), integration with a Juypter notebook and self-service scenarios. What was the requirement? What was the architecture / modeling approach and why? Where are the opportunities and challenges?

Christopher Kampmann
Christopher has been working on SAP BW projects since 2008 and almost exclusively on Datasphere projects for about 2 years. At ISR, Christopher is responsible for the SAP BW and Datasphere portfolios.
