Second joint functional programming meetup of 2026, hosted at the Helsinki office of Metosin and organized together with the Helsinki Haskell Users Group. There will be 3 presentations about topics in functional programming and time for questions as well as free discussion.

Using Go & Clojure with Babashka pods to create Conjtest (Ilmo Raunio)
Explores a Policy as Code tool built using Clojure/Babashka, bridging it to Golang using the Babashka pod protocol. Conjtest allows you to write and evaluate tests against common configuration file formats (such as EDN, YAML, or Terraform) using Clojure.

How I created my first RISC-V processor with Clash (Mika Tammi)

Mu-Nu pairing (Kari Pahula)
A look into a novel layered program architecture that pairs two different ways of representing code: a finite, arrow-based tree structure (μ) for analyzing and optimizing program logic, and a and a productive, infinite monadic state-machine (ν) for the actual execution. The talk focuses on its practical uses and demonstrations.
