POINT OF VIEW Improv Masterclass with US STAR David Razowsky!
Wednesday, 3rd June, from 7pm to 10pm

About this class:
ImprovSTAR has never been prouder to finally get David Razowsky here to Munich! I am totally psyched about him as I am one of his true disciples! He has influenced not only me, but Improv throughout the world most, after its foundational founders...and even Chat-GPT quotes Razowsky to be in the modern lineage as shown:

  • Viola Spolin → The games
  • Keith Johnstone → Status & spontaneity
  • Del Close → Long-form structures
  • David Razowsky → Emotional truth & actor craft

In recent years Razowsky has become one of the most internationally influential improv teachers, teaching workshops around the world and through online programs.
His work is especially popular with:

  • actor-improvisers
  • narrative improv groups
  • duo formats
  • dramatic improv
SO DONT MISS OUT & BOOK NOW!

Workshop Description: It’s the bedrock of every relationship. You state your point of view, and your partner says theirs. Sounds easy, right? But how often are scenes derailed because the actors don’t hold onto their points of view or mindlessly add unnecessary details that throw the scene off course? Recognizing, maintaining, and evolving a point of view creates confident and exciting scenes.

David Razowsky’s BIO & approach to improvisation*“*
I have a simple approach to improvising: Your present awareness is the only thing you need to create compelling, smart, truthful, and surprising scenes. Period. No games, no preconceived premises, no ideas, no ego. All that matters is now. The actor’s level of improvisation experience doesn’t matter, for all you need to bring to my workshop is your present presence. All you’ll leave with is your joy, excitement, and confidence. And after all, what more do you need?”

David Razowsky is the former artistic director of the Second City Los Angeles and the host of the award-winning podcast ADD Comedy with Dave Razowsky. His book, A Subversive’s Guide To Improvisation, Moving Beyond “Yes, and”, has changed the way improvisation is being taught and performed worldwide. His teaching and performing have taken him all over the world, from the US to Austria, Australia, Ireland, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, the UK, and New Zealand, where he recorded the TEDx Auckland Talk, Life, The Process is the Product. As an actor at The Second City, David worked with Martin Short, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, Rachel Dratch, Chris Farley, and Amy Sedaris, among others.
