English Meditation Classes for Beginners

This English course introduces meditation fundamentals, welcoming practitioners of all levels and backgrounds. You'll learn how to weave mindfulness into everyday moments by bringing awareness to sitting, walking, talking, and listening. You will also develop the skills to approach difficult emotions, conflicts, and stressful situations with greater compassion and clarity. To maximize your learning, participants are encouraged to practice at least twice weekly outside class.
Each session starts with brief insights into mindfulness principles, then engages in hands-on activities which would include: including guided meditation, mindful movement, group discussions, and experience sharing.
The early sessions focus on foundational sitting practices to help you find your footing, while later sessions expand into real-world applications; learning to stay present during daily activities, working with difficult emotions like grief, and developing self-compassion.
