Pfalz Hike: Annweiler - Gräfenhausen - Sommerfelsen, 13 km, 400 hm

Let's do another hike in Pfalz / Palatinate before the railway will be blocked by repair work again. We're starting from the nice small town of Annweiler and this time going up opposite the famous castle. We're going to have some nice views across the valley, visit several interesting rock formations and a restaurant in the forest.

Getting there:

• Let's meet in Karlsruhe Hbf, track 101, a bit before 10am.
• We're taking a train to Landau Hbf (direction Neustadt),
• then changing to another train from Landau to Annweiler
• arriving in Annweiler at 10:58
• Coming by car? You can join us at Annweiler Bahnhof or near "Turnerjugendheim Annweiler" (that will save you 2.5 km and 100 hm of hiking)

What to bring:

• at least 1-2 litres of water
• food for lunch time
• relatively sturdy shoes

I encourage you to contribute 2-5 € to cover membership costs. Meetup has been getting quite expensive. I hope we can cover the costs if most of us contribute once or twice per year.
