Hike and Christmas Market: Baden Baden, 9.5 km, 250 hm

Baden Baden is one of the few places with a Christmas market that is still open. Actually it's called Christkindelsmarkt.

The hike is medium difficulty with a distance of 9.5 km and 250 hm ascent - both below average for our hikes but normal for winter.
We're going to do the hike first and then probably be back in Baden Baden at around 4 pm. You can decide for yourself how much time you want to spend at the Christkindelsmarkt with us.

Getting there:

• Take RE2 from Karlsruhe Hbf at 11:09, track 12
  (This train is probably going to be quite full, so getting in early is recommended.)
• take bus X45 to Leopoldsplatz (Luisenstr.), or another bus if you miss this one. We start hiking from there.
• Coming by car? Please join us at train station or bus stop (11:46) or let us know about your plans.
• If you want to share a group ticket for the train please post a comment to this event.

What to bring:

• water (1-2 l), snacks
• weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes
• cash for the Christmas market - cards are not common there.
