Spring is here! It's time to chase blossoms and the almond blossom festival in Gimmeldingen near Neustadt is probably one of the best places for this.
This is an intermediate difficulty hike and should take around 3-4 hours plus time for the festival. If you want to go back early you can take a bus back from Gimmeldingen instead of hiking back.
Getting there:
- From Karlsruhe Hbf: take RE 6 on platform 101, 10:06.
- This train arrives in Neustadt Hbf at 10:50.
- Let's meet in the station building at 11.
What to bring:
- water and snacks
- weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes
