The European Commission's AI Ethics Guidelines

We will start with an initial talk presenting the content of the draft of the AI Ethics Guidelines presented by the European Commission’s High-Level Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence (AI HLEG).
The draft was presented on December 18, 2018, and a consultation process was launched within the members of the European AI Alliance. The comments are currently being analysed and considered by the AI HLEG for the preparation of the final version of the Ethics Guidelines that will be delivered to the European Commission by the beginning of April 2019.
After the talk, we are looking forward to have an open discussion about the issues raised in the draft in order to get a better common understanding of the ethical problems of applying AI algorithms.
The talk will be in English language, the discussion will be in German and English.
